Welcome to my blog!
I'm so thankful you're taking time to read a little bit about me. You might wanna grab a cup of coffee or something - well, maybe popcorn - cause my life has a tendency to get interesting! Just ask anyone who knows me...
Who I am:
My absolute least favorite thing in the world to do is write 'About Me' pages!!! (Ok, maybe not LEAST favorite - but it ranks right on up there with eating rutabagas. And if you don't know what those are, consider yourself blessed beyond measure.) BUT, if you want to know something about who's writing this stuff, it's kind of necessary, huh?
I'm a 21 year old girl who loves the Lord! I'm blessed to be the oldest of 6 crazy siblings (3 brothers and 3 sisters - the youngest is 7 years old. If you want a little taste of what it's like in a large family, just come along on a grocery shopping trip...) and I have a great mom and dad who serves Jesus. We're faithful to an Independent Fundamental Baptist Church here in South Carolina and we LOVE our church family! I have the privilege of working in the local prisons/detention centers with some amazing people sharing about how those behind bars can have peace in this world through Jesus.
Purpose of this blog:
The purpose of me restarting a blog (I authored a blog from 2005-2010) is so I can *hopefully* provide encouragement to ladies around my age, and also to share the Peace and Hope that I have with who ever may come across my page. We live in a crazy world, and I'm so blessed to know the One who can give hope!
"Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and wordly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. " - Titus 2:12-14 KJV
